Should work with any mod that does not make dead bodies disappear faster.ītw - I'm not going to continue this mod (someone should) so anyone can use this mod to get a better versions out. Thanks to my wife for writing part of the code and of course Shizof for actually telling me what functions to use as I would never have found them myself. Its also makes it so while at a big city like Whiterun of Solitude where they have hygiene standards dead bodies would get rid of fast by npcs (after 2-4 hours) so there would be no decomposed dead bodies at the streets or in shops.Īll an all I think this is a must for all hardcore immersion lovers. It uses all new scripts but the base idea is the same.

I actually took the idea from an old Russian decompose mod - but that mod was buggy as hell and caused fps drops and ctd. The bodies and skeletons are actually the npc that died and should be the same size and have the same abilities and and items as the npc if reanimated. You can also reanimate the decomposed bodies or skeletons. With npcs the mod turns the dead body (after about 2 days) into a draugr body (its still the same npc not a real draugr), spawning rats near the corps, and finally after some time later the npc would decompose into a skeleton.Īnimals turn rotten and then leave some bones after them. This mod adds decomposition of dead bodies (npcs and animals) to Skyrim. Did you know that basically all the skeletons in Skyrim are undead and there are no "real" skeletons almost no where?ĭid you find it weird that there are tons decomposed undead bodies in every dungeon but somehow no dead body actually decomposes?
